12:33 am - Jerome Pradon Facebook Group.

So, a few weeks ago, I was contacted by the lovely woman who runs the English side of Jerome Pradon’s official website. The formerly-official forum on that website has been overrun by spam lately, so she wanted to know if the hereby-linked Facebook group could be linked to take the place of the formerly-official forum on Jerome’s official website. She had even contacted Jerome Pradon himself, and he said he was fine with the FB group being linked to his official website.

It just so happens, I created and am administrator of the hereby-linked Facebook group for fans of Jerome Pradon.

So, of course, I gave permission for my FB group of Jerome Pradon fans to be linked to Jerome’s official website.

Now, when you click “forum” on the official Jerome website you’ll be linked to the Facebook group I personally created and for which I am administrator.

No words can describe my moments of SQUEE!!!!

9:26 pm - Nancy Boy Superstar!

I made another JCS 2000 fanvideo...  It's crappier than my other one; the timing didn't work out exactly how I wanted it to in a few places.  But it's as good as I could make it at this point.

Set to the song "Nancy Boy" by Placebo.  I've sort of had this planned out in my head for awhile now; now that I have a new computer, I was able to actually make the fanvid.

Another Jesus Christ Superstar 2000 fanvideo, based on a love triangle between Judas/Jesus/Mary. Not great, but I'm still learning how to make fanvids; sorry. Implied Judas/Jesus, Jesus/Mary, and some Judas/Mary. A bit of humor thrown in (clips of Simon and Annas set to particular lyrics of the song), but I might be the only one who thinks it's funny, LOL. Contains slash!!!

5:24 pm - My first real attempt at making a fanvideo!!!!!

Judas won't leave Jesus alone. A slashy crack!video, inspired by the 2000 version of JCS, starring Jerome Pradon and Glenn Carter. I was going to use the song "Judas" by Lady Gaga, but the real video for that song already looks a little like JCS 2000, so I did this instead. Also, I'm new to making fanvideos, and this was a way for me to practice.

I meant this video to be funny.  Not because of the slashy elements, but because I just thought this was a funny song to use (I'm completely serious about the slash...  Judas/Jesus OTP in the 2000 version!).  To be honest, the first time I heard Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," I thought of the "Superstar" scene in the 2000 version of Jesus Christ Superstar.

1:45 am - ANSWER TO JAVERT: a Les Miserables fanfiction.

Summary:  Short prequel, establishing Javert's obsession with Valjean.  Why would Javert be so focused on pursuing one particular runaway convict, when many others surely must have broken parole?  Slight (non-consensual) BDSM content, one-sided UST.  Implied Valjean/Javert.  Inspired by Jerome Pradon as Javert.

Disclaimer:  I do not own Les Miserables, nor do I own its characters.  I do own this particular story.

Warning:  This story contains slash!  It also contains non-consensual domination, although there is no explicit sexual content.

12:14 am - Ma Reve de LA MARCHE DES DINOSAURES!

I dreamt this a couple of weeks ago, but I'm must now getting around to blogging about it.  This dream is clearly the result of watching too many YouTube videos of Jerome Pradon as the narrator of LA MARCHE DES DINOSAURES in Paris.

I dreamed that I went to see LA MARCHE DES DINOSAURES with my friends Mary and Candace.  We were sitting in the balcony of what looked like a large cinema.  The mechanical dinosaurs roamed the entire place, and were actually some sort of threat to the audience.

Jerome Pradon walked through the audience, giving out random items for people to use to protect themselves, as we all tried to hide from the dinosaurs.  He gave me what looked like a metal tray or serving platter to use as defense.  I bragged to Mary and Candace that Jerome had given me a better defense item than most other people received (some people only got plastic forks, for example).

1:28 am - If We Go Too Far: A Jesus Christ Superstar fanfiction.

Summary: My friends keep telling me that I am a cruel person for not “allowing” Judas and Jesus an opportunity to resolve their sexual tension in my JCS fanfics. So, in this stand-alone fic, we find out what happens if Jesus and Judas “go too far.” This story IS NOT in the same “universe” as my other JCS stories, but it‘s still inspired by the 2000 movie with Jerome Pradon as Judas. Jesus/Judas. Contains slash!!!

Disclaimer: I do not own Jesus Christ Superstar, nor do I own The Bible. This story contains slash! This story depicts biblical persons as homosexual (I don‘t believe it‘s true historically, but this is how I interpret the 2000 movie version of Jesus Christ Superstar). Do not read this story if such ideas offend you.

There. A touch on the shoulder. Does he feel it? Does he know?

Does he feel for me even one-tenth of what I feel for him?

Why does Judas behave this way?

It is a pointless question; I know very well why he behaves this way.

Just as I know that I can never give him what he wants.

And if I want the same thing?

Well, that doesn’t matter, either.

1:18 am - Satisfais Moi: Jerome Pradon in THE ARISTOCRATS fanvideo.

Well, I decided to be brave and upload my very first "fanvideo" to YouTube.  It's a slightly-edited video of Jerome Pradon's scenes in the BBC film THE ARISTOCRATS, set to some nice music by The Rolling Stones and Placebo, respectively.

This is my first attempt at making something with Windows Movie Maker, and my original source video is crappy quality, so it's not very good, obviously.  But we all have to start somewhere, even us pathetic fangirls...

11:19 pm - More Judas fanfiction (multi-chapter prequel and re-telling of JCS 2000)

A Sordid Kind of Thing”

Disclaimer: I do not own Jesus Christ Superstar, nor do I own the Bible. I am not too concerned with historical inaccuracies, because I’m basing this story on a musical, and also for other reasons which will soon become quite obvious...

Author‘s Note and Warning: This story contains slash, suicide, murder, angst, sexual content, and profanity. This story describes same-sex relationships between biblical persons! I do not believe these people were historically gay; instead, I am basing this fanfiction on the 2000 film remake of Jesus Christ Superstar (because Jerome Pradon is made of awesome, and there is undeniable sexual tension in JCS 2000). Flames will be ignored, but any other comments are welcome and encouraged!

11:13 pm - Seeds: a Judas prequel fanfiction.

I see in the description of this community that fanfiction (and slash) is allowed, so I guess I will post my two Jerome-inspired Judas fanfiction here, if that is okay.  This has previously been posted at fanfiction.net .

Summary: Judas has started itching in my brain again! The result? Another prequel, set before my previous story, “A Sordid Kind of Thing.” Now, this oneshot stars Judas Iscariot, from ages five to twenty. What experiences shaped him into the man he eventually became? As before, my inspiration was the 2000 movie with Jerome Pradon. Contains slash!

Disclaimer: I do not own Jesus Christ Superstar, nor do I own the Bible. This story features a biblical person depicted as homosexual; do not read if such things offend you! Otherwise, please leave a review!

11:12 am - Amusing Dream.

When you get sick or have a cold, what's your favorite remedy to make you feel better?

I am prone to severe nightmares in general, but last night, I had a rather funny dream instead.  And, it's kind of relevent, because it involved Jerome Pradon.

Keep in mind, this insanity is from my unconscious!   None of this is real, obviously.

...The Dream...

The biggest newspaper in my city is called The Columbus Dispatch.  I dreamed that I was reading the Arts section of The Dispatch, and I saw that there was going to be a moderately large production of Les Miserables staged in my city.  The article in the newspaper was really long, and I started to read it, because I'm a big fan of Les Mis.  The article said that a French actor had come to our city to direct this production; the article went on to name the actor: Jerome Pradon!

Of course, I was very excited!  The article said that not only was Jerome Pradon directing this production of Les Mis, but he was also playing three different roles in the show:  Javert, ensemble male character, and ensemble female character (they had a picture of him dressed as one of the prostitutes in "Lovely Ladies").

Later on in the article, there was an interview with Jerome Pradon.  The journalist who did the interview wrote that Jerome Pradon was sarcastic and rude, simply due to being French.  This made me angry, because I don't like it when people make generalizations about various nationalities.

I logged onto the official Jerome Pradon message forum to tell the people there about the newspaper article, and about the special production of Les Miserables.  Dozens of people responded, saying they were coming from all over the world to see the show, and they thanked me for posting the information.

Then, I panicked, because I had not yet bought my own tickets for the show, and I was afraid that everybody else would see the show, and I myself would not, despite living in the city where it was taking place.

Then, I woke up.  LOL.

3:07 pm - Tenderly, again

As it was brought to my attention that the links to the Tendrement files that I posted some years ago have expired, I re-uploaded them for anyone interested.

While I'm writing here I will also take the oppurtunity to recommend Jérôme's two-part one-man-show Molière-winning musical L'Opéra de Sarah, if there is a reprise of the first part or the upcoming second one. It's nearly two hours of musical theatre Jeromie heaven, that somehow reminded me, personally, of why I love theatre so much.

8:11 am - Answers to the Intro Questions.

Name: PhantomDaae1981 (my real name is Kelly).

Occupation: Nothing (I receive social security due to depression, etc).

Fave Jerome Musical(s): Jesus Christ Superstar, closely followed by Crime of Passion (I have the c.d.; I wasn't lucky enough to have seen it onstage).

Fave Musical(s): In general? Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Rent, Jekyll and Hyde, Miss Saigon (I suppose a couple of those could go in the "Jerome Musical" section, but I haven't seen/heard enough of him in Les Mis or Miss Saigon).

What drew you to Jerome?: Um, should I be honest? Hehe. I had always liked JCS, and I was trying to find various videos to watch on YouTube. I didn't recognize the 2000 version, so I clicked on "Heaven On Their Minds" to see what the 2000 version was like. I thought it was, well, slashy. And I like slash. After a dozen or so viewings, I thought to myself: "This guy playing Judas is kind of sexy. I wonder who he is." So, I searched Google, and was even more intrigued when I found out he's French. I decided to look into his other work, and I quickly became a fan. I've been a fan for a year now.

5:26 pm - Tenderly.

In case someone were to check this community, like, ever, I don't think it's completely pointless to post about extra exciting Jérôme news and updates. So. I would just like to bring to everyone's attention the recent updates to J's official site, where they've added two new videos. One is a collage of movies Jérôme has been in (ex. Vatel and Simon Sez), and the other one is none other than this, a fabulous clip of Jérôme performing "Tendrement", complete with diva arm movements and (relatively) enormous hair, in what appears to be a tv show.

8:08 pm - Opéra Chocolat-Café

Salut! dear, dead-ish community.

Now, I don't know if y'all have seen this, but a few days ago Siosiz posted a fabulous video on her Jérôme fansite, from an Olivier Darcourt's MySpace. It's a musical short film from '04 which has such wonderful components as chocolate, opera and Jérôme in one of the main roles. Moi, j'adore.

8:17 pm - Christmas gift of the year?

So, dear inactive community, je suis curieuse... Has anyone ordered (or bought irl) the Cabaret des hommes perdus dvd?

Personally I won't get mine in forever (one or two weeks), since amazon.fr are slow (or busy) and I live too far away from France.
But I read on a blog somewhere that the extra material was fab.

I feel a bit like I'm spamming the community, but anyway, I just wanted to mention, in case someone hadn't noticed, that you can now listen to "Will you be there" at 3 Radical's Myspace. Which I guess ought to be proof that it is the same Jérôme. :D

8:53 pm - Music!

If anyone's interested, here's download links for the two songs from Jérôme's 1987 Tendrement single, transferred to computer by me (in other words I'm to blame if the record sounds dusty or quelque chose comme ça)...

(And I do hope no one is offended by the lack of legal-ness (where I live, at least) in posting the songs, and I apologize in that case, but really, what's the fun with music if only a few people are able to hear it? Yay instead for being able to discuss and share the musical experience.)

5:03 pm - 3 Radicals

I was innocently lurking around on myspace music when I found this fun site. Note the capital "Jerome Pradon" in the Band Members section.
Does he have a secret rock star twin brother ...with the same first name? (I do realize the chance of that is not very big, yes.)
Does anyone know what this is?
